So I am back from an awesome weekend in NY with my parents. They have done a lot of work on their house since I had been there last and it looks great. I had a really nice time just relaxing and spending time with my mom. I really can't reiterate what a good time I had.

The driving on the other hand was yucky. But it is over and done with now.

It was good to be there and it is good to be back . . . .

Here goes another really busy week . . .

Life doesn't stop moving forward . . . ever.

For dinner tonight I ate my first black bean humice sandwich, with cucumber, red pepper and bean sprouts, oh it was on wheat bread, too.

Change, the only constant.

As cheesy and corny as it may sound, it really all boils down to love.

Long Time No Blog . . .

So it has been awhile since I have blogged. Partly because I have not had that much to say and partly because my computer stopped working last weekend and Dell is currently trying to fix it.

So here I am at the end of another wonderful work week. This week definetly had its ups and downs, but overall it was a good week. Life just exhausted me this week. When I got home from work today ( at 12:40), I immediatly went to sleep and took a nice three hour nap.

The last week (especially last weekend) have been full of thinking for me. With changes happening at work and just really coming to terms with what my life is here in Columbus, and the beginning of the church in Grandview, my head has just been a lot of different places this week. And as I approach the end of this week I feel I like I could have done better. I could have been a better friend, made more phone calls, written more letters, asked more questions, paid more attention. Overall I just could have done more. And I am not saying all this to beat myself up, but to simply remind myself that I can and should do more.

Overall life is good. It has just been so busy. Working forty hours pretty much dominates my week. Here are some highlights:

Sunday - Walking to Stauf's, Giant Eagle and the library. A refreshingly beautiful day.
Monday - Taking a walk at night around Grandview with Kerri.
Tuesday - The first gathering of the church in Grandview (located at 827 Northwest Blvd.)
Wednesday - Talking about following Jesus with Matt & introducing more discipline into my life.
Thurday - Veggie burger, fries and green beans. Left-overs from dinner when I got home from work, I really do live with the best people ever.
Friday - A three hour nap . . . getting some work done.
Saturday - Tomorrow I get to go to Cincinatti with Kerri, Sharon and Amy Joy.

A week from today I will sitting in my parents living room in Syracuse, NY. I am driving out there to pick up my mom's car (she bought a new one and I am buying hers). It will be really nice to see my parents and spend some time with them. The visit will be brief, but I know it will be well spent. We might even go to the zoo on Saturday.

I think I am going to go take a walk and enjoy this beautiful spring day.

Peace to you and yours.

Wanna buy a car?

Random Announcement :

Anybody want to buy a1991 Nissan Senta (2 doors) with 146,000 miles on it?

It has four new tires, but it just might need a new exhaust system, but other than that it runs ok.

Just tossing it out there.

Peace to you and yours today.

Polar Express

I found this picture a few days ago. It was taken the day after Christmas. Riley, Trey and I were reading "Polar Express" and Trey was so tired that he just fell asleep as we were reading.

I just put Trey to bed (Kerri & Eric are out for the evening) and found myself overwhelmed with gratitude.

I simply love my life.
